MRD

MRD, the project of Norwegian producer Kent Tonning, first arrived on the scene with his debut project, R.O.T, cultivating a core group of fans intoxicated by his willingness to bend every genre towards his punk, electronic and industrial-informed childhood favourites. In 2019 his sound expanded with tracks like the house thriller "Matter of Time" and "Superwoman", as well as EPs such as 2020's FLOWERS OF FLESH AND BLOOD. In 2023 he ushered in a new era with "Midsommar", his collaboration with Narciss, and teamed up with dance label Live From Earth for the full-length Løvehjerte. After joining forces with Artemas on an official remix of "i like the way you kiss me", he followed up with the EP Misled Youth on Live From Earth, in conjunction with the Diplo-founded label Mad Decent.
