Lacchesi

Portrait de Lacchesi

Lacchesi is a Paris-based French DJ, electronic music producer, and label owner.

From an early age, Lorenzo Lacchesi was immersed in music. Growing up surrounded by CDs thanks to his parents’ work at Philips, he explored everything from rock and jazz to classical music. As a teenager, he studied piano, played bass in various bands, and discovered electronic music at 15, drawn to the French Touch movement. After high school, he pursued sound engineering, worked at Radio France, and co-founded his first techno label, Péché Mignon, with friends.

Under the name Lacchesi, his focus shifted towards warehouse techno. His first major bookings came through the Parisian scene, where he refined his industrial, rave-influenced sound. During this period, he co-founded his second label, Maison Close, a platform for emerging talent built around an eclectic and hybrid musical vision.

Lacchesi’s sound balances minimalist techno with trance, drawing inspiration from artists such as Regent, The Advent, Mathys Lenne, Rrose, Helena Hauff, Spekki Webu, and W92. Known for his fast-paced, high-energy DJ sets, he crafts introspective journeys through jittery melodies, minimal grooves, and experimental elements. His productions span an equally broad spectrum, from hard-hitting techno and uptempo beats to glitchy IDM and ambient soundscapes.

2025 marked a pivotal year for Lacchesi, with extensive international touring and performances at major festivals including Monegros, Pitch, ADE – Into the Woods, and Nuits Sonores. Following a widely acclaimed SECTION mix, he was also announced as a resident DJ for London’s Tech Couture parties.

Driven by a love of loops and a relentless pursuit of harmony, Lacchesi delivers high-octane, genre-blurring sets that unfold like intense rollercoaster rides. He builds tension until the body reaches its limit, before releasing it in a euphoric rush. Wild and fiery, his performances embody his Mediterranean energy, Italian temperament, and playful sense of humour, leaving dance floors in a frenzy.
