RUIZ OSC1

Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz, known as RUIZ OSC1, is a Colombian DJ and producer from Bogotá, celebrated for her refined vinyl technique and genre-defying sound. She has played some of the world's most respected venues, including Bassiani, VENT Tokyo, Basement New York, Tresor, FOLD and RSO, as well as Intercell, Vault Sessions and showcases for Mutual Rytm and Technics, where she serves as an ambassador.

Rooted in a lifelong passion for music, she draws inspiration from her mother - a singer and music reseller - who introduced her to salsa, merengue and Colombian folklore in the late 80s and early 90s. After moving to Europe in 2010, she began blending these rhythmic traditions with contemporary electronics, creating a sound she calls "folkloric techno".

RUIZ OSC1 made her debut on KAOS with contributions to Ritualistic Discoteca and her solo EP Grooveroots, and has since worked with labels such as Emerald and Molekül. A rapidly rising name, she is known for immersive, high-intensity performances that highlight the deep connection between rhythm, culture and emotion.
